Press Statement

November 4, 2025

To date, no government agency has found any evidence of the specific Listeria monocytogenes strain identified in the outbreak in its thorough testing at Nate’s Fine Foods’ facility or in products under its jurisdiction. Since our voluntary and limited recall of select products began, the FDA has conducted extensive testing at our facility—collecting several hundred environmental samples in addition to product testing. All results have come back negative for the specific strain identified in the outbreak.

Nate’s Fine Foods remains fully committed to consumer safety and to cooperating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other public health agencies as their investigation into the source of a multistate outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes continues.

We remain focused on maintaining the highest standards of food safety. This commitment is reflected in the strong safety record we have achieved since opening our doors more than 13 years ago. We are deeply concerned for those affected by this outbreak and continue to work closely and transparently with regulators. Nate’s Fine Foods sincerely appreciates the continued trust and support of our customers and partners.

For details on the outbreak and the recalled products, please visit the FDA website. Consumers with questions can also contact our Customer Care team at qa@natesfinefood.com.

Press Statement

September 29, 2025

Nate's Fine Foods is committed to the highest standards of food safety and the well-being of our consumers. Out of an abundance of caution, we are voluntarily recalling select products after being notified of a potential link to a multistate outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes.

We are in the process of committing our resources to continuing our previously impeccable food safety record by being diligent in our investigation. We are working closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state health officials to fully investigate the source. Our top priority is ensuring the safety of the people who enjoy our products, and we will continue to take all appropriate steps until this matter is resolved.

Consumers are urged not to consume the recalled product(s). If you have purchased the affected items, please discard them immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. A complete list of recalled products, including lot numbers and expiration dates, is available at :
